This Carefree neighborhood was developed in the 1970's as luxury 5 acre retreats from the city lifestyle. Since there was not a Town at that time, some CC&R's were recorded to promote consistency of quality, but today there is not an active Homeowners Association. Many homes are ridge-top and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains, sunsets, and city lights. Horses are permitted, but not prominent here. The roads wind as they traverse the rolling hills to 100 homesites in this ideal north Carefree location.
